Langtang Helambu Trek

Langtang is situated close to the Tibetan border in the north of Kathmandu. The scenery here is splendid and the Trekking is more adventurous as visited by fewer Trekkers. The forest in the region have temperate and sub-alpine vegetation. Wildlife includes migratory birds, deer, Monkey, Thar and Pika.The religious of Tamang people closely resemble those of the people of Tibet inhabits the area. We make our trek through larch & rhododendron forests that are abundant with wild flowers & birdlife. This all help to ensure your trek particularly attractive in the spring time. The area is rewarded with the stunning views of the Manasalu, Ganesh Himal in the west & even as far as the Annapurna massif. A series of undulating ridges offers delightful walking before descending to the edge of Kathmandu.


Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. 5-6 hours. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1300m) and trek to Chisopani (2110m). 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 04: Trek to Kutumsang (2540m). 6 hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 05: Trek to Tharepati (3597m). 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 06: Trek to Tarke Gyang (2620m). 5 hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 07: Trek to Sermathang (2620m). 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 08: Explore local culture. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 09: Trek down to Malemchi Bazar (846m) and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10: Transfer to International Airport for your onward destination.
